Getting to North Salem

North Salem, N.Y. is in the northern part of Westchester County, right on the border with Putnam County and with Connecticut. It’s said that there are more horses than people in the town, and that just might be a correct assessment. Lori and Mike live on Peach Lake, which is where the big extravaganza will take place.

By Plane
The closest airport is Westchester County Airport (HPN), which is in White Plains/Armonk. We’re about a half hour by car from the airport.

Other choices are LaGuardia or JFK. We’re about an hour away from those airports by car.

By Train from NYC
From Grand Central Station, take the MetroNorth Blue Line/Harlem train to Croton Falls. Then take a cab to North Salem. The train ride takes about an hour and 10 minutes.

By Car from the South
Take I-684 North to exit 8 Hardscrabble Road. From the exit ramp, take a right onto Hardscrabble Road. Go three miles and turn left onto June Road. Go about a third of a mile and turn right onto Bloomer Road. Take the second left onto Bloomerside Road (accessed through the entrance of Pehquenakonck Country Club). The Bloomerside Pavilion is the big building by the lake.

See you soon!
